Livity in Brixton is a youth marketing agency which has developed an inspiring education arm that amongst many things introduces young people into music industry roles via six month scholarship placements at record labels such as Sony BMG. I act as a mentor/teacher over this period, teaching them everything from marketing,PR, Publishing and A&R right through to the roles of collections societies and intellectual property. After the six months these young people are seen off into the big bad world of the music industry with more experience and understanding of how it all works then they even imagined possible. I also teach similiar courses at varying levels at other institutions around London from Goldsmiths University to Wanstead Youth Centre. It's all about the 'yoof' innit!
